Small molecules play a vital role in natural ecosystems and human society, serving as the basis for breakthroughs in medicine, agriculture, and biotechnology. Although nature harbors a vast repertoire of undiscovered bioactive compounds, metabolomics provides the critical tools needed to identify and analyze these complex chemical signals. To lead this exploration, the Interdisciplinary Center for Metabolomics and Natural Products was established at the University of Haifa to offer state-of-the-art multi-phase analysis and expert support across Israel. Through its cutting-edge facilities, the Center enables the discovery of novel pharmaceuticals and biomarkers while training the next generation of interdisciplinary scientists.
