Rooted in the North aims to recruit talented students from the Religious-Zionist community—a demographic with a proven record of civic leadership in education, healthcare, and public service. By providing scholarships, housing, and a dedicated on-campus community, the University encourages these students to do more than just study in Haifa. The program positions them to put down roots in the North, and in doing so, to help rebuild it organically.

First-year funding is NIS 3.3 million.
